Will this white stuff never end!

I was going to go out and shovel snow off my path, since it snowed after I did it yesterday and very kindly covered the path back over, but it's just started snowing yet again, so I guess that's a no ::grin::

I've never known a winter this bad, and with this much snow.

That probably means we'll get it in a few minutes or so. Oh well, I won't bother shovelling our path either.

It's been snowing off and on since 11 this morning. We're in an 'off' bit at the moment, but I'm still not shovelling ;)

I remember it being this bad in about 1985 or 6 - we got a week off school. It was just after they started showing things like mini-series in the afternoons on daytime TV, because we watched the whole of Anzacs :)

we got that too, clara must have too 'cause she was only a few streets away :)

then again, all i can remember is a photo we too of our cat at the time belly deep in the snow in the middle of the lawn and my brother being sent out the living room window to clear the snow away from the front door before we opened it.

those two items are all i can remember about it, and that my gran was looing after us 'cause the parents were off somewhere. i can't remeber playing in it or getting cold or anything.

I was going to try and dig out the garage and the path but it snowed last night, it snowed today, I used WD40 to get the gate open...

And I have foot long icicles (at least they're hanging off the edge of the roof)

I thought it was just me being from the south coast of Devon that made this the most snow I've ever experienced, but if folks up north say so.... :-)

We've got icicles hanging off the back of the house, as well. It actually all looks kind of cool, it's just bloody freezing ::grin::
