Things What Claire Did Today...

moonlettuceThing the First: Built a table and four chairs. Fear mah DIY skillz, bitches! This also means that when I have guests around I can actually feed them at a table, instead of whacking a plate in their hands and pointing to the floor.
Thing the Second: Put a bunch of cards and postcards I've been saving into a frame and hung it in my passage. I've been meaning to do it pretty much since I moved in; today I actually did it.
Thing the Third: Mentally re-cast Big Eden with the cast of Supernatural. Yesterday, I just fancied watching Big Eden, so I put it in the DVD player while I was building Jokkmokk (all fear Ikea and their Judoon furniture range...) and then started re-casting it in my head as I was pushing an inordinate amount of small dowling rods into various holes. (In my head, Dean goes back home because Bobby's been in an accident and there he meets and starts falling for Castiel, the shy owner of the general store.)
Thing the Fourth: Continued on the re-casting of movies vein by then watching D.E.B.S. and whacking the SPN bods in that one, too. (Whacky rom-com where the crime-fighting team of Castiel, Uriel, Anna and Gabriel go after the notorious Winchester Brothers and sparks fly when Dean and Cas meet.)

temaris and sang down the phone at her. I was happy, I was singing about my table, and the cat was looking at me funnily. All I needed was Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell and it would have been a yellow ticket to Hollywood. For reals.
Thing the Sixth: Was generally awesome. What can I say? It's how I roll ;)
