Why is it that my cat hates me unless I'm trying to do something on the computer? And then it's all 'pay attention to me *purrr*purrr* For I shall sit on the desk and headbutt your hand away from the mouse until you stroke me *purrr*purrr*'

It could be worse. Buster a)stands directly in front of the monitor b)tromples the keyboard and c)sits on the mouse. When he wants attention, he really, really wants attention. And he gets it. The cats are in charge in our house and they know it.

Though this is dreadfully inconvenient, you can make this work to your advantage by pestering your human at the moment it is the busiest. It is usually so flustered that it will do whatever you want it to do, just to get you out of its hair. Not coincidentally, human teenagers follow this same practice.
