Forbidden Corner

So, last Sunday, alyse, Alyse's small person and I went to the Forbidden Corner.

I'd never heard about this place until someone at work started talking about it and it sounded like a lot of fun, so Al and I decided to go.

Dude, this place is fabulous. It feels very Alice Through the Looking Glass and there's just so much stuff hidden away to find. They hand you a leaflet when you go in with various things that you can find (although it doesn't tell you where or how to find them), but there's so much other stuff as well.

When you come out of the admissions place, you're pointed on your way by this guy:


You go in one end...


And come out the other...


And then it's a labyrinth of paths and door and statues and things hidden away and just waiting for you to find them...













Every quarter hour, the frogs on the fountain start dancing and shooting water at people...

It was great fun and we're definitely planning on going back.

It was fantastic :D They've got a heard of deer there, as well, and there are points where you can look out onto the field where they are :D
