So, I was sitting on the bus coming home earlier and a lad near me had his music turned up so pretty much everyone could hear it. And all I'm thinking is why is it the people with the crappest music taste that insist on playing it the loudest? Where are the people listening to their 80s mullet rock with the volume turned up to 34. Must I be doomed to bus journeys of shitty techno music piped through tiny earbuds...

Well they're the ones who have been to far too many clubs and are hence deaf, so they have to turn it up to hear it. Also the volume fools their brain into thinking it's good music ;)

I may be one of them people but in my defence I listen to 80s mullet rock and erm it needs to be loud so I can actually understand the words. The joy of being a special snowflake with random conditions....*nods.*

I'll crank up the volume on mine, but only when I get off the bus because I know what it's like being the one thinking 'Jesus, turn it down already...' ::grin::
