Alas no. Apparently they're having a gap. Thank God we don't do things like that over here. Once they start showing stuff it's all the way through. Yippee! Oh, except for Christmas, of course.

Actually, I thought the headslap was interesting. There was the shoulder-grab in Trinity, as well. Admittedly that was in extremis, but, John doesn't do that with anyone else. He's not at all touchy-feely but he obviously feels comfortable enough with Rodney to do the headslap thing.

I only do that with *very* close friends. And, being British, I'm not very touchy-feely either. *g* Yeah, yeah, me and John. Not exactly similar but given his surprise and discomfort when Elizabeth hugged him (although I think he was rather touched and pleased as well), and the fact that he's not physically demonstrative, I think the headslap does demonstrate his comfort with Rodney. Yes, it's also a bit of a power thing, as well, possibly but I still thought it interesting that he feels free to touch Rodney.

I was wondering how many ppl noticed the name thing. It made me so happy. I love the more relaxed team dynamic now that John is the only military on the team and the rest don't technically have to follow his orders or do the "sir" thing. Also, I believe Condemned was the first time (that I could remember) Teyla called John by his first name.
