So, I assume that if you post to multiple journals, the flock works the same way? I mean, if I friends-lock a post for LJ, does it friends-lock it for GJ and JF? And user pics? Dude! This may need some playing around investigating...

I'm currently (as I type) backing up my LJ at both IJ and GJ with LJ-Sec...it seems to be working pretty well. *crosses fingers*

the multiple posting...I've posted but haven't really checked yet (slow pc)...unless you can log in to GJ and tell me what's my latest post say *G*

the Private posts seems to stay private when multipleposted...I haven't tried the custom filters, or the general f-lock, but I'd assume the latter to work (not the former since the same filters aren't set up on GJ and IJ...I don't even know if there are custom filters on GJ and IJ...*shakes fists at LJ for messing up my corner of FUN!!!!*

:D

IJ has custom filters, and I am slowly and cautiously moving stuff over. I created the filters first, then moved everything on those filters and they seem to have migrated and filtered correctly.

I use Semagic to crosspost between four or five journals, and so long as you have filters with the same name and the same user pics in all the journals, they both transfer. It flocks the posts on all of them, too. I haven't had any trouble with it so far.
