Why yes, I've just cried my way through the last 15 minutes of Torchwood, why ever do you ask?

As much as Tosh and Owen dying hurt, though, I think they did it perfectly. Owen ranting until Tosh said "You're breaking my heart," was them. And Tosh not telling him that she'd been shot was absolutely what she'd do. So, yes, heart broken and stomped on, thank you kindly.

And as an aside, how much do I love that Jack and John's song (according to John) is 'I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper.'

Yeah, still crying over here. And yes, it was perfect in a 'stomp on my heart some more, dude!' way. And then the fuckers had to show that 'You're breaking my heart' bit in the behind the scenes thing and I just lost it again.

I cried while loving Owen's death scene. He wouldn't go quietly into death and he wouldn't be gracious unless it was Tosh who could talk him down. So painful and heartwrenching.

[I kinda like the joke Burn did in the declassifed where he said Owen could have gone down to the swearers and become all decomposing king of the weevies.]

It was a real finale, and the endings were perfect for the characters. Plus of course, this is Torchwood, this doesn't necessarily mean we've seen the last of the actors. We have potential flashbacks, AU universes, shapeshifters, etc etc. Though, to be fair to Tosh and Owen, if we do get a series next year their characters shoudl stay dead and at peace because you can't top that exit :)

Absolutely. I think to bring them back would negate just how powerful that was, and that would just be wrong. So, as much as I'd like to see Tosh and Owen back again, I think it's got to be flashbacks and alt universes and so on.

The bits of the Jack/John/Gray sections I found amusing were the Ianto being all "Get your hands off my boyfriend..." But yeah, the Tosh/Owen stuff and the team dealing with Cardiff in flames totally blew Jack/John/Gray out of the water

She didn't tell him she'd been shot but she also didn't have to say I love you again and he stopped when she said he was breaking her heart and he apologised and then the Space Pig and it was them and, for ocne, not overdone (or at least just overdone enough to make everyone bawl like babies)
