Evan sighs as he kneels in front of the altar and opens his BDUs. He's pretty sure that Colonel Sheppard's never been asked to do this; is more than positive that if he had then Rodney wouldn't have able to keep his mouth shut about it. No, it seems like the honour of jerking off for an alien culture is entirely Evan Lorne's pleasure.

Of course, it's more than worth it when he thinks of what his team are going to be given in return. So, he'll jerk off and then put up with the comments and jokes that are bound to happen when they get back to Atlantis. Because, when this is over, he's going to be walking through that Stargate with a fully charged ZPM in his hands. And that, he thinks, is worth his hand on his dick any day.

*g* little does he know. Once he's sent in that suitably bowdlerised report there will be the invitation to knock back a couple of drinks, and later, out on a quiet balcony, his CO will toss him a beer, and smile, and say, "Call me John."

And Even will look at him, and nod, and thumb the top off the beer and take a sip that he nearly chokes on when his CO -- John -- tilts his own beer towards Evan and says, with a knowing smirk, "To planets less hung up on sex than we are."

And when he's managed to clear the beer (over Shepp--John's mild: "I said drink, not inhale."), and he looks at John quizzically, because the choking has given him time to work it out, and John nods at him.

"No military here," he says, eyes on the horizon. "I'm not asking. But if you want a friend to talk to--"

Evena's skin flushes, and he carefully doesn't look. But they talk for a long, long time.

And after, he watches SGA-1 with new eyes, and wonders.
