Er, I'm reading Star Trek...

Okay, so I caved and joined
kirk_mccoy ::facepalm::
I could never get away with reading TOS fic as I find William Shatner so vastly unappealing. However, throw Karl Urban into the mix and apparently I'm there like something very sticky sticking to something else very sticky.
Also, I really should do a proper update, shouldn't i?
It would be all adventures in domesticity and how Claire really should wear socks with a pair of New Rocks.

Date: 2009-07-30 09:02 pm (UTC)Wel, you could, but where's the fun in that ;D
I didn't need to be dragged, it's just that I'm much more of a Next Gen girl when it comes to Trek. I think the problem with TOS for me is that I have the urge to smack Shatner!Kirk whenever I see him - just can't stand the guy. Pine!Kirk, though... He was enough of a dork to get away with being an arrogant tosser ::grin:: And like I said, throw Karl Urban into the mix and I'm there with bells on ::grin::

Date: 2009-07-30 09:21 pm (UTC)Exactly discovering a new book/film/tv show and not discovering a new slash otp is a wasted oppertunity!!! *hugs her shiny new McShep obsession*
Edited to add in her shiny new Demons Lexicon Alan/Nick obsession, quite easily the slashiest book ive ever read
Yes I liked Pine Kirk, he was the right micture of arrant dork :P
and Karl Urban makes anything automatically better :D
